What You Get

The simple version of staying here.

No hookups, no schedule, and nothing between you and the water but a gravel bar. The bathhouse is close enough that this is not roughing it unless you want it to be.

What is there, and what is not.

What comes with the site

  • Fire ring at your site
  • The bathhouse: two private showers with hot water, two private toilets, complimentary coffee, and shared seating
  • Wi-Fi at the bathhouse. Thin to nonexistent everywhere else, which most people decide they like
  • Firewood and ice for sale, delivered to your site
  • All 277 acres while you are here. The creek, the trails, the pasture, the ridge
  • Dogs at no charge. No breed restrictions, leashed in shared areas

What you bring

  • Water. There is no spigot at the site. Fill up at the bathhouse or bring your own
  • Power. Nothing at the site. Charge at the bathhouse or bring a battery
  • A tent. These are tent sites, not RV sites. If you are in a rig, our dry sites are what you want
  • A light. It gets properly dark out here and the bridges have no rails
  • Everything else. No camp store beyond firewood, ice, drinks and a few snacks. Salem is 30 minutes for a real grocery run

The creekside sites are the easy answer. They are not the only one. Most of the 277 acres is open for primitive camping, so if what you actually want is a ridge to yourself, say so.

Call us first. Not to be difficult, but because some of the property has cattle on it, some of it floods, and some of it is a long way from help. Tell us the kind of spot you want and we will point you at one that works.

Before You Come

Two things to sort out.

Sign the waiver

  • Every guest 18 and over signs it, and a parent signs for anyone under 18. It is an insurance requirement and there are no exceptions.
  • It takes about two minutes and comes to you by email and text.
  • Complete your waiver

Read the rules

  • Quiet hours are 9pm to 7am, fires go in the ring, the property is smoke free, and the trails are mostly unmarked.
  • Half down when you book. Cancel 14 or more days out and the deposit is refunded in full. Inside 14 days, see the policy.
