We built the place we were looking for.

Four people, two families, and 277 acres in the Missouri Ozarks.

Why We're Here

It started with wanting a different kind of life.

Sinking Creek Ranch didn't come from a perfect plan. It came from a pull toward something quieter. After years behind screens and in meetings that ran long, what felt right to us was being close to nature and close to each other.

So we went looking for it. We wanted to build that life for ourselves, raise our kids in it, and then hand a piece of it to anyone else who needed it.

That's the thing we keep hearing from guests. People show up carrying more than they realized, and somewhere between the drive in and the first night by the fire, they set it down.

We wanted to disconnect from a crazy world and spend time with the people who mean the most. Sometimes just with our own thoughts. That's what we're trying to give you.

The Land

Then we found this place.

Two hundred and seventy seven acres in the Missouri Ozarks, bordered on three sides by Mark Twain National Forest, with a spring fed creek running straight through the middle of it.

Rolling pasture. Deep timber. Wildflowers that turn over through the season, wild mushrooms after a good rain, and more deer and turkey than you'll be able to count. Three horses that have the run of the place.

And above all of it, a Bortle Class 2 sky. We didn't know that when we bought it. We found out the first clear night we spent here.

Two families, one ranch

Sites are spread out on purpose and quiet hours are real. The thing people come here for is the thing we protect hardest.

The rate covers your whole group. No per person charge, no vehicle fee, no metered power. What you see is what you pay.
